You will join our Energy Field Development (Oil & Gas) department
As our new Study Manager, Offshore NCS, Energy division you will be part of a growing team with highly experienced members both in Norway and Denmark. We conduct studies and FEEDs for major Oil companies on both brownfield and greenfield including unmanned minimum wellhead platforms where Ramboll have more than two decades of experience. Our services also include electrification and wind. The study environment is supported by a very experienced in-house weight and cost estimating group. As a study manager in Offshore Studies your most important role is to lead a multidisciplinary technical team conducting early phase facility studies of high quality and through this become a trusted advisor to our clients.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Project manager for studies and FEEDs
- Lead the technical and commercial team to reach the objectives
- Be the single point of contact for the client during execution
- You will support our business development function actively including activities such as client meetings and tender preparation.
Additional task will be:
- Use your knowledge and network to identify project opportunities
- Build good working relations to other parts of the Rambøll family and draw on full service offering of complete organisation
For the candidate with the right leadership skills there is a potential for further career advance. You would then become responsible for the Offshore Studies department in Norway. This responsibility will involve developing the employees and take part in management tasks and strategic tasks set out in the department’s strategy plan.

- B.Sc. or M.Sc.
- Min. 10+ years of experience within topsides facility projects including experience with early phase studies
- Strong multidiscipline system knowledge
- Good English and Norwegian skills – both verbal and written
- Network within Oil & Gas Norway
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: excellent communications skills as well as great interpersonal skills. You are service minded and client centric. Furthermore, you enjoy working independently as well as in teams. You already know the industry very well and find it easy to build a wide and effective business network and you have a sense for a sales opportunity.
