Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible to assure quality of work by self check and by providing review by qualified personnel before handing over to customer  
  • Responsibilities as given in the roles for this position
  • Authority to Create and Review for Flow Assurance discipline technical documentation
  • Authority operate on behalf of the department/project within own Flow Assurance discipline in agreement with line manager/technical lead
  • Authorities as given in the roles for this position


  • Well experienced in performing the role as Analysis Engineer for CFD and FEA analyses
  • Experienced of performing the role as System Engineer for:
    • Computational fluid dynamics
    • Thermal analysis
    • Capable of performing the role as Technical Lead Flow Assurance in tenders, studies and projects
  • Knowledgeable in use of Business Management System  
  • Skilled in relevant engineering tools
  • Well experienced in use of relevant codes and standards
  • Skilled in use of Global Project Execution Process - GPEP
  • Knowledgeable in use of Global Tender Execution Process - GTEP
  • Skilled in use of relevant local work processes, guidelines and best practices  
  • Experienced in use of the following engineering tools
  • CFX/Fluent (CFD tools)
  • FEA Ansys Mechnical (Workbench, APDL)
  • ANSA
  • Knowledgeable of relevant Company system solutions - equipments knowledge
  • Skilled of relevant Company products and components - functional principles

Technical and Problem solving skills

  • Expert  in Flow Assurance engineering
  • Expert in producing standard technical Flow Assurance documents
  • Experienced in solving complex technical issues
  • Knowledgeable in relating engineering skills and cost impact
  • Expert in System engineering
  • Well/experienced/Skilled in Computational fluid dynamics and Thermal analysis

Interpersonal skills

  • Experienced in leading teams
  • Skilled in coaching engineers on discipline issues
  • Capable of supporting technical negotiations with clients and suppliers
  • Skilled in leading technical meetings internally and with clients and suppliers
  • Capable of transferring knowledge within the group/department/region

Recommended formal education:

  • BSc with minimum 9 years discipline experience
  • MSc or PhD with minimum 8 years discipline experience
  • Minimum 1 years experience in Oil & Gas industry
  • Fundamental knowledge in fluid flow and fluid properties
