You will join our Weight & Cost department

The Weight & Cost department specialises in weight and cost engineering, including monitoring of mass, load and stability throughout the lifetime of all offshore facilities. We provide services to our many clients within estimation, verification and benchmarking using one of the markets most extensive knowledge databases for weight and costs. Our excellent service delivery is supported by our in-house developed expert software systems for weight monitoring (MON), weight estimation (WEPS) and cost estimation (REES).

Our main clients are typically oil & gas companies and EPC contractors. Our projects are typically greenfield and brownfield projects within the oil & gas and offshore wind industries. We are an integrated part of a strong organisation working across Norway, Denmark, Qatar, India, UK and the US.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare weight estimates for different concepts/solutions in early phase studies using in-house experience database
  • Weight monitoring tasks in all phases of projects
  • Weight management and monitoring tasks for existing facilities
  • Offshore surveys
  • Maintain and develop weight benchmark database
  • Support the development of in-house weight monitoring software MON
  • Participate in project meetings with our clients
  • Conduct client sales meetings
  • Prepare input to proposals
  • Option to develop competences within cost estimation

  • Experience from oil/gas projects combined with broad discipline knowledge
  • Experience with weight monitoring and/or weight estimation
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Structural)
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
