We are currently looking for a:
Senior SW – Sensor – Systems Engineer
You will be working in the SW / application algorithm team focusing on ultrasonic measurement principles in dynamic fluid environments. We believe that you have a Master-degree in Cybernetics, Physics or SW, and at least 5 years of experience working with embedded SW, developing algorithms for measurements systems, or creating mathematical models of physical systems that can form a basis for systems analysis and measurement. A strong interest in the field may compensate for lack of experience.
We expect that you are proficient in C and in addition somewhat familiarity with at least one or more of the additional topics of; MISRA C, embedded microprocessor tools, digital signal processing, experience with ST or Microchip microcontrollers, experience with CAN/SENT/PWM communication protocols.
Familiarity with additional programming languages and GUI development is a plus, as is Knowledge/Experience with Agile software methodologies and Test-Driven Development approach.
You will be working closely with electronics and transducer engineers to take part in designing, implementing and testing software algorithms for ultrasound-based sensor systems integrated into challenging environment applications. Curiosity, good ability to work in a team, readiness to spend time in the lab and interest and ability to understand the physical constraints impacting a sensors accuracy and ability to measure is important.
Our customers have high demands for durability and performance and our development process is designed to ensure the right quality. Familiarity with ASpice is an advantage but not expected as we will provide the relevant training.
We typically customize our sensors to specific customer requirements and you will be able to participate in customer projects which also enables us and you to gain a deeper understanding of the nature of the environments our sensors are operating in.
