Senior / Principal Engineer - Structural Analysis

Exciting, right?We are now looking for a Senior / Principal Engineer Structural Analysis who can contribute to Aibel’s exciting journey in the ongoing energy transition.

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and calculations, including complex analysis
  • Prepare structural design proposal
  • Prepare and check structural calculations and design reports
  • Advice on technical issues
  • Interaction with other disciplines
  • Tender work, studies and detailed engineering


  • Master or Bachelor degree within Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience within structural analysis for offshore projects on the NCS
  • Broad experience related to structural analysis of main, secondary and outfitting structures
  • Offshore survey (preferable)
  • Good understanding of both design and strength analysis of main, secondary and outfitting structures
  • Analysis softwares; StaadPro, Sesam, Abaqus, MathCAD
  • Familiar with E3D/PDMS (view)
  • Good knowledge of relevant standards as NORSOK, Eurocode og DNV-standards
  • MS Office standard software
