In addition, we operate two modern yards in Haugesund and in Thailand, with complete prefabrication and construction capabilities.

 

We are looking for Senior Automation Engineer working in engineering projects study and detail phase. For manned and unmanned operated offshore wind High-Voltage substations (HVAC or HVDC) and Oil and Gas topsides

 

Your responsibilities:

  • System design of automation systems for process, fire&gas, electrical and utility equipment
  • Follow-up system design for equipment packages and subsea interface
  • Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation
  • Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and
  • communicated to the project
  • Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, platform and client
  • Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
  • Participate relevant test activities/FAT/UFAT

 

Education and work experience:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects to be located on
  • Norwegian Continental Shelf
  • Minimum 4 years’ Experience from SAS system design activities, including System Control Diagram, function description and cause & effect development.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as
  • NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC
  • Newly qualified engineers will also be considered
