Your responsibilities:

  • Be a key resource within marine operations in Field Development & Offshore Wind and Concepts & Studies
  • Responsible for marine operations descriptions in tenders for Tender, Studies and EPCI contracts
  • Responsible for marine operation design in Tender, Studies and EPCI contracts
  • Responsible for marine operation method development in Concept and EPCI contracts
  • Responsible for knowledge of Rules and Regulation
  • Responsible for technical content and interface to legal in subcontracts for marine operations
  • Support and assist Business Development (BD) within marine operation issues as well as marketing
  • Study lead responsibility for studies that has a major content of marine operations
  • Concept development lead for studies that has a major content of marine operations
  • Marine operation manager for EPCI projects
  • Participate in tenders
  • Contract negotiations with marine subcontractors
  • Knowledge of hydrostatic, hydrodynamic and mooring analyses
  • Perform outline design and analyses for main- and temporary steel e.g. grillage & sea-fastening, lift points, guides & bumpers and marine installation engineering

Marine operations here include:

  • Yard operations, site moves, lifts, load-outs, mating etc, during construction
  • Marine transports, barge transport, wet tows, HTV transports etc.
  • Marine installations, lifts, launching, piling, suction anchors installations, GBS installations, float overs, Jack Up installations etc.

Education and work experience:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree – Marine engineering, Naval architecture 
  • Preferably experience within both Offshore Wind and Oil & Gas marine operations
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience
  • Experience with concept development work
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management
  • Knowledge of methods and technologies for Marine operations
  • Market knowledge of existing players, vessels and equipment for marine operations
  • Good knowledge of rules and regulations for marine operations
