About the job
As a subsurface engineer in Equinor your workdays will be diverse and you will work on complex tasks, across disciplines and in different parts of the company. Reservoir modelling and drainage strategy, well planning, well intervention planning, production optimization and energy efficient increased recovery and production are some of the key tasks. So are digitalisation, near field exploration and field development.
Our innovation and research projects are ground-breaking, and we need fresh perspectives and innovative minds to succeed with the ongoing transformation.
About you
We are seeking open-minded, collaborative and motivated engineers and data scientists, with a strong motivation to embrace the potential of new digital technologies. We are looking for diversity in both background and experience. We have positions for both generalists and specialists with competence within oil and gas, energy optimization and carbon capture and storage.
The current positions are located in Harstad, Stjørdal, Trondheim, Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo and Porsgrunn. The last few years have required flexibility from all of us; our ways of working have changed quite substantially. We believe in a hybrid model, mixing physical and virtual collaboration, combining work both in the office and outside our facilities. With us, your tasks, team responsibilities, your personal preferences and our business needs will define how you work.
You’ll be working alongside a large network of creative thinkers, people with different perspectives, and who are not afraid of taking on projects that others may find daunting. We believe that an open mindset and a diversity of experience fuels innovation and makes us more resilient.
