Client Management Specialist


Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and knowledgeable Client Management specialist located in Oslo / Norway to maintain and develop our current Client Management environment (Configuration Manager, Application Control). This includes active participation in the transformation to Cloud based client management. You will work in close interaction with our global IT organization and business stakeholders. DNV is operating a hybrid model with our Private cloud, Microsoft Azure / Office365 and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with a strong  strategic approach towards Cloud Services.

Your key tasks and deliveries:

We expect a member of our Client Team to have in depth knowledge of Windows client and servers. The key responsibilities will be:

  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
    • Maintain the Configuration Manager infrastructure
    • Monthly Microsoft patching (servers and clients)
    • OS Deployment (clients)
    • Keep Configuration Manager “up-to-date”.
    • Develop the Configuration Manager platform
    • Application deployment (incl. scripting)
  • Modern Workplace Management (Intune, co-management)
  • Application Control and privilege management
  • General client support / troubleshooting
  • Identify and deliver service improvements

Position Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background with the ability to develop and maintain key solutions. The candidate should also have the following experiences and qualities:

  • Senior level proficiency in Client Management System (both on premise and Cloud based), especially for Configuration Manager
  • Ability to manage and participate in multiple projects, manage priorities, manage timelines and escalate issues as needed
  • Self-motivated, proactive and takes ownership
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Promotes service delivery and customer-centric mindset and culture
  • Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
